Handling Classes

Get your dog ring ready!

Handling #2.jpeg

The conformation world is a competitive one. It is a world of professional handlers, breeders and fanciers. Before someone steps into the ring to show their dog it is important that not only the dog know what to do, but, the handler as well. The person showing the dog must remember that it is their job to present the dog to the best of their ability.

The Auburnmist Training Centre offers handling classes that are designed to simulate being in the conformation ring. The classes offer one-to-one attention, providing specific information for each handler and their dog.

During the summer classes are held in the outdoor training ring to simulate the outdoor summer shows. During the winter and poor weather conditions, the classes are held inside the training facility.

The conformation handling classes are held:

  • Monday's from 7:00-8:00 PM

  • $16 etransfer fee per handler

  • Moving forward in regards to my handling classes on Monday evenings. I am now only going to allow a minimum of 4 people and a Maximum of 10 people each week for class. This will be done, by pre-registration only with an etransfer prior to class of $16.00 including GST per person. This will be non refundable. All registrations must be in by the Sun before 5 pm. If there is less than 4 people this class will be canceled and your payment will be put towards the next class. This reduces the crowding in the building, and the parking lot.

Thank you for understanding, I look forward to seeing you soon!

Please contact me to see if I still have room for you, and if I do please send your funds to: mail@auburnmist.com I have Auto Deposit, so no need for a password.

**There are NO classes on all statutory holidays.
